Wall Sculptures
Boldstone offers a comprehensive range of Commission, Custom-Made and Made to Order services for both Bespoke and Standard sculptures and various art pieces tailored to individual preferences and specifications. We collaborate closely with clients to interpret their vision into tangible works of art.
We offer a range of wall sculpture designs which can be Made To Order, Custom-Made or Made to Commission.
Commission & CUSTOM-MADE
Process
The commissioning process begins with an initial consultation, where ideas, inspiration and budgets are discussed. Once an estimate has been reached including lead times we will submit a quotation along with fee structure for project completion. At this stage we supply drawings, samples and marquettes of colour, stone and metal effect prior to commencement of carving and making the final artworks. This collaborative approach ensures each piece is not only a representation of the client's vision but also an integration of artistic expertise and possibility. Throughout the creation process, clients are kept informed and involved, receiving updates and opportunities for feedback.
Commissions and Custom-Made have a minimum timescale of 6-8 weeks depending on the scale of the project.
Made to order
Process
Clients can choose a Standard Wall Sculpture design from our list of Sculptures. As all of our wall sculptures are hand-made, Standard Designs are Made To Order and depending on the scale of the project these Sculptures can be supplied from 2-4 weeks from the agreed date of order.
For an additional fee, Made To Order sculptures can have different stone and metal effects applied to the surface.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Boldstone offers services that include suggestions for installation and art consultation. By choosing our commission and consultation services, clients are assured of personalized attention that results in one-of-a-kind art pieces suitable for their environment that caters to specific needs of our clients.
We can support interior or garden design teams in the planning, executing, and monitoring of projects by scheduling capabilities to assist in visibility across project timelines. Gantt charts and calendar views make it easy to visualize project progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and adjust timelines as necessary to keep a project on track.
Our reporting and analytics features enable managers to track performance metrics, assess resource allocation, and gain insights into project outcomes. Depending on the size of the project we have the capability to utilise a data-driven approach allowing for informed decision-making, helping teams optimize their processes for future projects.
By centralizing project information and creating a collaborative environment, Boldstone brings together teams to enhance productivity, meet deadlines and achieve project goals efficiently.
DIFFERENT MATERIALS
We work in various materials including glass fibre reinforced polymers with stone powders and resins, gypsum based materials as well as foundry cast bronze. Sculptures can be cast either as hollow or as solid works depending on wall type and weight factors.
SHALLOW AND DEEP RELIEF
Our designs can be cast as shallow or deep relief work. Shallow pieces can be as slim as 2cm deep and reach up to 30cm deep if required. Another aspect is wall sculptures can be designed to house metal framework set into the back of the pieces to support LED lighting integrated within the artworks.
STONE SURFACE EFFECTS
Stone surface effects using stone powders include, White Marble, Bath Stone, Natural Stone, Portland Stone, Yellow Ochre, Terracotta, Black and Silver Grey Granite.
FRAMED EDGING
Our Standard Designs can have a frame cast or added to the edges of the sculptures depending on the desired effect.
METAL EFFECTS
We offer metal effects ranging from patinated to un-patinated Bronze, Verdigris Copper, Rust effect, Silvery Pewter and combinations of these metal effects. Gold and silver leaf are also available.
PIGMENTS
We can make our sculptures using specialised pigments in colours of your choice.
VARIOUS SURFACE EFFECTS
We can offer highly textured or very smooth surfaces depending on the project.
CREATIVE CONSULTATION
Given the many effects that are possible we can use these in combination with our designs to create unique pieces. The archetypal subject matter of our designs gives our artworks a sense of timelessness enabling these pieces to be combined with classic as well as more contemporary abstract concepts in both gardens and interiors.
